Step- by- Step Watercolour Workshop

Come sit down, relax and create beautiful watercolour paintings with Marg McIntyre’s popular “Step by Step” method of instruction. This workshop is for all levels – from “never held a brush” to “experienced artist”. You don’t even have to know how to draw. Let your creative juices flow, while we mix colours, practice our ‘washes” and techniques, and create some beautiful fluid watercolour landscapes.

Program Fee for 3-day session: $100.00

Reserve Your Seat: Don't be disappointed. There is limited space. A $25.00 deposit is required to reserve your seat. Full payment for the course is expected by July 1st, 2007.

Cancellations: All deposits and full payments will be fully refundable up to July 7th, 2007.

What to Bring: Your enthusiasm, sense of humour, special photographs and your artwork samples to share. Your materials fee entitles you to the use of all of the required miscellaneous materials including 140lb Cold Press watercolour paper, palettes and artist-quality paints. Come in, sit down and leave with your finished masterpieces.

Lunch: - Bring your own lunch and drinks. We will have a “working lunch”. .

The following is a list of the materials that we will be using for the Workshop. These materials may be rented for the duration of the workshop.

• Raw Sienna
• Burnt Sienna
• French Ultramarine Blue
• Cobalt Blue
• Aureolin
• Veridian Green
• Alizeran Crimson
• Blue Thalo (Optional)

Brushes
• 1” Flat
• ¼ ” Flat or slant
• #10 Round
• #2 Round
• #2 Riggers
• fan (any size)

Paper – 140 lb Cold Press – Arches or Winsor Newton
- cut into 10” x 7” pieces and taped down – Avg. 3 paintings per day
Misc: Liquid Masking, Pencil and white eraser, Kleenex, Popsicle stick – sharpened to a point, Wax, Masking Tape, Toothbrush, Liquid masking
